Biologically active compounds with chiral centers are required to be synthesized in optically pure form. One of the most effective method to prepare optically active compound is asymmetric synthesis, in which chiral catalysts generally consist of center metals and chiral ligands. Our project involves the development of novel asymmetric reactions by use of non-metallic organocatalysts to realize high stereoselectivities
