A new publication by Dr. Toshihiro Yamada of Aso Medical Center (Specially Appointed Researcher, Faculty of Life Sciences), who conducted his research in our laboratory, was posted on bioRxiv on February 2, 2026. This work has now been added to the “Achievements” page of our website.

The study demonstrates that hepatic ketone body synthesis alleviates fatty acid overload and suppresses cardiac hypertrophy.
