Two Third Year Medical Students Accepted for the “Medical Research Practicum”

As part of the third‑year curriculum of the School of Medicine at Kumamoto University, the Department of anatomy is currently hosting two third‑year medical students for the Medical Research Practicum program. Under the supervision of Associate Professor Arima, the students are actively engaged in their research activities.

This practicum is designed to provide students with hands‑on experience in the full cycle of research—from planning and conducting experiments to presenting their findings. Through this process, students develop essential knowledge and skills for future research and clinical practice, as well as cultivate a strong research mindset.

The practicum is scheduled to run for three months, from April to June, with a research presentation session planned for Friday, June 26.
