Through the Student Exchange Program Based on the Academic Exchange Agreement of the School of Medicine at Kumamoto University, one medical student from Mahidol University (Thailand)—one of the university’s partner universities—has been assigned to our department and has been participating in an internship program for research practicum since May 13.

This internship program is designed to provide hands‑on experience in basic medical research, with the aim of helping students understand the field of basic medical sciences and gain practical research experience.

Over the course of approximately four weeks, until June 5, the student will work on research‑related tasks within the Department of Anatomy.
