This symposium has been held continuously following the establishment of the Double Degree Program between Kumamoto University and several universities in Thailand, including Mahidol University, Chiang Mai University, and Khon Kaen University.<\/p>\r\n<p>On January 29 and 30, presenters from both Kumamoto University and universities in Thailand and Korea delivered lectures throughout the day. On the first day, in the session \u201cAcademic Presentation III,\u201d he gave an oral presentation titled <em>\u201cKetone body metabolism and cardiovascular diseases.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\r\n<p>The symposium provided a valuable opportunity to deepen academic exchange among researchers from the participating institutions.
