{"id":488,"date":"2026-05-18T16:15:48","date_gmt":"2026-05-18T07:15:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.medphas.kumamoto-u.ac.jp\/anatomy\/?post_type=news_en&#038;p=488"},"modified":"2026-06-26T16:19:29","modified_gmt":"2026-06-26T07:19:29","slug":"associate-professor-arima-participates-as-one-of-the-organizers-of-the-41st-kumamoto-medical-and-biological-science-symposium","status":"publish","type":"news_en","link":"https:\/\/www.medphas.kumamoto-u.ac.jp\/anatomy\/en\/news\/20260518_488\/","title":{"rendered":"Associate Professor Arima Participates as One of the Organizers of the 41st Kumamoto Medical and Biological Science Symposium"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Associate Professor Arima is participating as one of the organizers of <a href=\"https:\/\/ircms.kumamoto-u.ac.jp\/news\/2026\/03\/may-18-20-the-41st-kumamoto-biomedicine-symposium.html\">The <em>41st Kumamoto Medical and Biological Science Symposium<\/em><\/a>\u00a0(hosted by <a href=\"https:\/\/ircms.kumamoto-u.ac.jp\/\">the International Research Center for Medical Sciences (IRCMS)<\/a> at Kumamoto University), held over three days from today.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n<p>This year\u2019s symposium is themed <strong>\u201cHemovascular system throughout life\u201d<\/strong>, focusing on how the hematopoietic and vascular systems function from development through immune responses, aging, and disease. Over the course of the three days, researchers are expected to deepen discussions and develop a shared language in the emerging field of <em>hemovascular biology<\/em>.<\/p>\r\n<p>At the opening session, Associate Professor Arima delivered the welcome remarks.
