On October 1, the student attended the entrance ceremony of the Graduate School of Medical Sciences, Kumamoto University, formally marking the start of their doctoral training.

The student came to Japan under the Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship Program and joined our laboratory with the aim of advancing their expertise in basic medical sciences. Under the supervision of Associate Professor Arima, the student will engage in essential research activities required for earning the Doctor of Medicine (Ph.D.) degree, including developing a research theme, designing experimental plans, and preparing scientific manuscripts in English. While learning fundamental techniques in developmental and regenerative biology promoted by our department, the student will steadily progress toward degree completion.

In addition to coursework in the doctoral curriculum, the student will participate in laboratory discussions, seminars, and other academic activities, actively integrating into our international research environment and broadening their scientific perspectives.

The Department of Anatomy is committed to fostering global researchers by providing an environment where international students can conduct their studies with confidence. We will continue to support their academic growth, degree completion, and future career development.
Introducing herself at the entrance ceremony

At the lab meeting the other day

[6
post-551","news_en","type-news_en","status-publish","hentry","tax_news_en-cat_news_en
["GET
