*[Privately financed international student slot] closed on May 31st.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n

This program provides scholarships aimed at recruiting excellent students and enabling academic research
\r\nactivities. The scholarships are offered to students in the doctoral course (partial exclusions may apply) and
\r\nare offered to students who have demonstrated excellent results on the entrance examination, in academic
\r\nperformance, or in research activities.<\/p>\r\n

 <\/p>\r\n

1<\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/span>Target of the scholarship<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 All students in the doctoral course of the Graduate School of Medical Sciences<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 However, the following students are excluded ;<\/p>\r\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 (1) Students whose enrollment period exceeds the standard length of study<\/p>\r\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 (However, this excludes students who have exceeded the standard study period due to reasons not attributable to the student.)<\/p>\r\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 (2) Students who earn a stable income that allows them to focus on research activities(2,400,000 yen\/year)<\/p>\r\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 (3) International students receiving financial aid from the Japanese government<\/p>\r\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 (government-sponsored international students)<\/p>\r\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 (4) Japan Society for the Promotion of Science Special Researcher<\/p>\r\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 (5) Well-being recipient<\/p>\r\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 (6) HIGO program student<\/p>\r\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 (7)Better Co-being recipient<\/p>\r\n

2<\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/span>Amount of the grant<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The amount is equivalent to the annual tuition fee (JPY 535,800).<\/p>\r\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u203bStudents who will complete their doctoral courses in September:<\/p>\r\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The amount is equivalent to half the amount of annual tuition fee. (JPY 267,900).<\/p>\r\n
