The 3rd year and 4th year students must earn the credits stipulated in the student handbook in order to complete the doctoral program. Please check your credit status on SOSEKI or your academic records by using the certificate issuing service. If you have not met the credit requirements yet, please make sure to finish all coursework as below.

Students planning to complete the doctoral program or withdraw without a degree in March 2026 must finish all coursework by Wednesday, December 31. No credit will be awarded for courses left incomplete after this date. Students who fail to earn the required amount of credits will not be considered for completion.

– If you find out that your current course registration won’t suffice the credit requirements, you need to sign up for additional courses. In such case, please contact the GSMS Office immediately. The credit requirements are described in your student handbook.

– For “Practice (Jissen) I, II and III”, the grades will be put in right before the course completion. Their grades will show “In Progress” until then.

– If you are registered for the seminar courses, visit here to see your attendance record.

– For those who are pursuing the March 2026 completion, D3 “Medicine and Life Science Training” will close its credit application on Friday, December 5. No late application will be accepted. Those who wish to apply for the credits must submit required documents to the GSMS Office by this day.
