Our laboratory is engaged in the following research projects:
– Elucidation of the pathological mechanisms of amyloidosis and the development of diagnostic and therapeutic strategies;
– Pathological and genetic analyses of hereditary cerebral small vessel diseases (SVDs), including CADASIL, and the development of diagnostic methodologies;
– Clinical research on thrombolytic therapies in the hyperacute phase of stroke, utilizing MRI, CT, neurosonography, digital subtraction angiography (DSA), and SPECT imaging;
– Investigation of the pathophysiological mechanisms underlying intractable neurological diseases.
