【研究プロジェクト名および概要】
近年、医学教育モデル・コア・カリキュラムの改訂、共用試験の公的化、臨床研修の必修化、医学科定員の見直し、国際基準に基づく医学教育分野別評価、新専門医制度、医学生の臨床実習における医行為の制度的整備、医師の働き方改革など、我が国の医師養成を取り巻く制度は大きく変化している。総合医学教育学講座は、医学教育に特化した講座として、(1)医学部医学科の使命、学修成果および医学教育モデル・コア・カリキュラムに基づく学位プログラムの改訂、(2)共用試験を含む学生評価の適切な実施・管理、(3)卒前・卒後医学教育のシームレスな接続を見据えた診療参加型臨床実習の企画・立案・実施・管理を支援している。さらに、医学教育における諸問題の解決に向け、国内外の医学教育関連学会・組織等と協働し、研究、開発および成果発信を行っている。
In recent years, the framework for physician training in Japan has undergone significant changes, including revisions to the Model Core Curriculum for Medical Education, the official recognition of Common Achievement Tests, mandatory postgraduate clinical training, increases in medical school enrollment capacity, accreditation of medical education based on global standards, the introduction of a new medical specialist system, clarification of the legal status of clinical practice by medical students under the revised Medical Practitioners’ Act, and physicians’ work-style reform.
As a department specializing in medical education, the Department of Comprehensive Medical Education supports: (1) revision of the School of Medicine’s degree program based on its mission, learning outcomes, and the Model Core Curriculum for Medical Education; (2) appropriate implementation and management of student assessments, including Common Achievement Tests; and (3) planning, implementation, and management of clinical clerkships designed to ensure seamless continuity between undergraduate and postgraduate medical education. The department also conducts research and development and disseminates findings in collaboration with academic societies and organizations in the field of medical education in Japan and abroad.
