研究テーマ
【研究プロジェクト名および概要】
我々のモットーは「今日の患者さんに最善を尽くし、明日の患者さんのための研究を怠らない」である。この理念のもと、日々の診療と研究を密接に連動させ、質の高い医療の提供と新たな知見の創出を目指している。臨床面では、脳血管内治療、脳腫瘍手術、ナビゲーションシステム、覚醒下手術、神経内視鏡手術、定位放射線治療等の最新治療法を、教育関連病院との密接な連携により、早期に導入し、各症例に応じた最良の治療法を選択できる体制になっている。特に、神経膠腫、脳血管障害、脳下垂体腫瘍に関しては豊富な症例経験を有する。研究面では、脳腫瘍、脳血管障害、機能的脳神経外科の3領域を柱とし、臨床と基礎をつなぐトランスレーショナルリサーチを推進している。脳腫瘍における分子生物学的解析や新規治療標的の探索、脳血管障害における血行動態や血管新生機構の解明など、臨床課題に直結した研究を展開し、その成果を診療へ還元することで治療成績の向上に寄与している。

Our motto is “Do the best for today’s patients and never neglect research for tomorrow’s patients.” Under this philosophy, we closely integrate clinical practice with research to provide high-quality care while generating new scientific insights. Clinically, we offer a comprehensive treatment system incorporating endovascular therapy, brain tumor surgery, navigation systems, awake surgery, neuroendoscopy, and stereotactic radiotherapy. Through close collaboration with affiliated teaching hospitals, advanced techniques are introduced early, allowing us to select the optimal treatment for each patient. We have extensive experience, particularly in gliomas, cerebrovascular disorders, and pituitary tumors. Our research focuses on three main areas: brain tumors, cerebrovascular disorders, and functional neurosurgery. We promote translational research bridging basic science and clinical practice, including molecular analyses of brain tumors and studies on hemodynamics and angiogenesis in cerebrovascular diseases, with the goal of improving patient outcomes.
